The Ultimate Wellness Smoothie

The ultimate wellness smoothie. Perfect to break a fast, supplying daily fiber, nutrients, protein, hair/skin support, and gut health.

Ingredients

  • Raw milk

  • high quality protein 

  • Psyllium whole husks (fiber)

  • 5g Creatine 

  • Collagen (I, II, & III plus vit c)

  • Cinnamon

  • Monk Fruit

RAW MILK: Aka non-pasteurized milk. Better than any milk alternative on the market. It has  amino acids, antimicrobials, vitamins, and minerals. Makes for the perfect pre-workout with its carbs, fat, protein and natural sugar content. My favorite is SW Ranches Farmers Market.

PROTEIN: The best is the Nature Force- it’s Whey, Monk fruit, vanilla extract THAT’S IT. The protein is great, but the Amino acid profile is the best part (having both is key). 

PSYLLIUM HUSK: Provides 5 grams of fiber, gut nourishing, helps hydration, improves digestive health. 

CREATINE: Improves performance, energy, post workout recovery, metabolic and neurological health. It can help memory, alertness, & mental fatigue. 

COLLAGEN: With 3 types of collagen, they all support different things. I love using a collagen that will support skin elasticity, anti-again benefits, and join and bone health. 

Combining Vic C with Collagen is crucial. I love Ancient Nutrition since it provides multiple types of collagen + Vitamin C needed for absorption.

Keep in mind- the protein in collagen is not a complete protein (meaning it lacks some essential amino acids) so it doesn’t support muscle growth & repair. 

CINNAMON: rich in antioxidants, and add delicious flavor!

MONK FRUIT: simple replacement for refined sugars. Lakanto makes my favorite, I use this in my coffee, and anything I need sweetness to.
